I am Donna Doutt and I came to the Kiskiminetas Presbytery office in 2002 after serving for many years in various capacities with the Western PA United Methodist Conference. My husband, Buck, who is retired, and I bought an Amish farm near Trade City/Smicksburg area in 2000, and moved there from Beaver. We have four children and six grandchildren, two Newfoundland dogs and a chocolate Lab. We keep busy with our dogs, chickens and family, as well as our antique business.
I was a former active member of the First United Methodist Church in Rochester, PA, and now am a member of Dayton United Methodist Church.
Through my time working at the Ward Home for Children, a United Methodist mission in Pittsburgh, and as a foster parent, my personal focus has been on children who have suffered neglect. Because of the many orphaned, homeless, and AIDS afflicted children left in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, I feel drawn to reach out to these children of God, and assist however I can in their care and nurturing.
